1. Data Collection & Usage

QuietFocus respects your privacy. We commit to:

• Zero Data Collection: We do not collect, upload, or store your personally identifiable information
• Local Storage: All focus projects, sessions, and insights are stored locally on your device
• No Network Transmission: The app works offline; no data is sent to any servers
• No Third-Party Sharing: We do not share your data with any third parties

2. Data Types

The app stores only the following data locally on your device:

• Focus Projects: Names and color settings of focus projects you create
• Focus Sessions: Start time, duration, previous activities, and expected outcomes
• Insights: System-generated focus success rates and patterns
• Preferences: Your app usage preferences

All this data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework.

3. Data Security

Your data security is ensured by:

• Device Encryption: Data is stored locally with iOS system-level encryption
• No Cloud Sync: Data is not synchronized to iCloud or other cloud services
• Export Control: You can export data as CSV files at your discretion
• Complete Deletion: You can delete all data permanently in settings

4. Permissions

QuietFocus requests only necessary system permissions:

• Notifications (Optional): For focus completion reminders; you can disable anytime in system settings
• No Other Permissions: The app does not require location, camera, microphone, contacts, or other sensitive permissions

5. Third-Party Services

QuietFocus does not integrate any third-party services:

• No Analytics: No Google Analytics, Firebase, or other analytics tools
• No Advertising SDKs: No ad or tracking frameworks
• No Social Media Integration: No connections to Facebook, Twitter, or other social platforms

6. Your Rights

You have complete control over your data:

• Access Right: You can view all data stored on your device at any time
• Export Right: You can export data as CSV files to other apps
• Deletion Right: You can permanently delete all data in settings
• Choice Right: You can choose not to use certain app features

7. Privacy Policy Updates

If we need to update this privacy policy, we will:

• Notify you prominently within the app
• Post the updated policy on GitHub
• Maintain transparency and accessibility of the policy
